"Im Winter 1913/14 läßt es sich natürlich einrichten, dass die 'Meininger Hofkapelle' unter meiner Leitung in Erfurt konzertiert ... so können wir Ihnen zu der Honorarfrage ganz erheblich entgegenkommen ... und für ein Honorar von 1500 M spielen. Ich bitte Sie daher, spätestens Anfangs April 1913 an mich schreiben zu wollen ..." Reger hatte von 1911-1914 die Hofkapellmeisterstelle in Meiningen inne. - Correspondence about a planned concert tour with the then famous orchestra, the Meininger Hofkapelle. Originally in german, translated: "In the winter of 1913/14, it can of course be arranged for the 'Meininger Hofkapelle' to give a concert under my direction in Erfurt ... so we can accommodate you quite considerably on the question of the fee ... and play for a fee of 1500 M. I therefore ask you to write to me at the latest at the beginning of April 1913 ..." Reger held the position of Hofkapellmeister in Meiningen from 1911-1914.
